4CRS Paddle School Recreational Paddling Class

This 4 hour class is designed for recreational kayakers or paddle boarders to learn the all the basics of flatwater paddling. In this class we will meet at 4Corners and begin with a discussion of gear selection, boating safety and boat  or board design. We will be able to spend close to 3 hours of class exploring Lake Nighthorse which is conveniently located just 5 minutes from 4Corners.

During these three hours of paddling, we will discuss proper paddling techniques. This will include practicing our forward, sweep, draw and brace strokes. All of which make paddling in a straight line an easy task, and make going fast feel effortless! So join us every other Thursday morning from 8 until 12 beginning in the last week of May until the middle of August. Call 4Corners and ask about family discounts on this class.

Cancellation Policy

The Southwest can have very sudden and unpredictable changes in weather. All classes run rain or shine, unless there are weather related safety concerns. All programs may be changed at our discretion.To keep our classes affordable, we must fill a program with a minimum amount of participants. We reserve the right to cancel the program if the minimum amount of participants is not met. A full refund will be provided if a class is cancelled, and you will be notified no later than 48 hours before the beginning of the class.
